Overview

Bachelor in Hospital Administration (BHA) is an undergraduate hospital and health care management course. Hospital administration is a field relating to leadership, management, and administration of hospitals, hospital network, and the healthcare system. Hospital administration is a new concept in management stream. The course provides students with sufficient knowledge and skills to carry out the administrative operation of the clinical and support service department. The candidate of Bachelor in Hospital Administration (BHA) is involved in the overall coordination of activities in the hospital

The course curriculum is spread over four semesters of classroom instruction and practical’s / Internship. The first and second semester subjects offer an in-depth knowledge about the fundamentals of business administration with special emphasis on business environment, organization theory, quantitative methods, and computers in administration. The third and fourth semester introduces students to subjects of hospital management and information systems and total quality management etc. These courses strengthen functional skills and deepen the understanding of the multi-dimensional environment in which healthcare organizations operate.
